Rental of equipment for simultaneous interpreting

Our Office installs professional wireless systems for simultaneous interpreting at a site specified by the Customer. Interpreting is executed with the help of digital systems of PHILIPS company (the equipment used in conference rooms of European Commissions in Brussels). Practically speaking it means that we render the highest-quality reliable services.

The equipment for simultaneous interpreting operates in IR mode.

The available equipment and experience let us provide technical services during simultaneous interpreting starting from one interpreted language (Polish language + foreign language), to end up with 16 interpreted languages (including Polish). The Office is able to provide equipment for simultaneous interpreting for small events (several people), as well as for several thousand participants.

A computer and specialist software used to control the system allow sending to headphones all the interpreted languages and the main language (floor).

In the scope of simultaneous interpreting we offer:
The installation of equipment for simultaneous interpreting at a site specified by organisers:
• booths for simultaneous interpreting - professional two- or three-person, portable booths, equipped with 2 desktops for interpreters, a lamp, ~220V port, ventilation. In case of conferences of European Commissions booths with equipment fulfilling ISO 4043 standard are provided.
• control (central) unit, controlling operation of the system for simultaneous interpreting.
• infrared modulator (transmitter), specifying the number of languages, which will be emitted in infrared mode.
• infrared radiators – appliances sending IR beam (infrared light) with interpreted languages. We install huge power radiators (15W and 25W), which guarantee that the room is lit to the extent assuring a good signal quality.
delivery of headphones with infrared receivers (from 2 to several thousand sets – depending on a conference requirements),
equipment handling by qualified technical personnel,
assurance of professional simultaneous interpreters of specified languages specialising in the vocabulary of a given conference,
providing hostesses to hand over headphones with interpreting receivers to participants.

The system for simultaneous interpreting has to be connected with the sound system. In most cases we use the sound system of the conference room selected by the Customer. If there is no sound system in the room or it is inadequate for the needs of a given conference, our Office can also provide conference sound system in the required configuration along with related technical services.
