What is a sworn translation?
Sworn (authenticated) translation is the official translation supplemented with a translator’s name, family name and address and stamped by a sworn translator. Authenticated translations are usually completed for courts, prosecutor’s office, Polish and foreign offices, universities, notary offices, etc.

What is consecutive interpreting?
Consecutive interpreting is such interpreting, in course of which a speaker interrupts his/her speech, thus making it possible for an interpreter to interpret the earlier fragment.

What is simultaneous interpreting?
Simultaneous interpreting is such interpreting, in course of which an interpreter interprets “on current basis”, and a speaker does not have to interrupt his/her speech. Simultaneous interpreting during conferences or symposia requires the involvement of an interpreter of extraordinary skills and qualifications. Simultaneous (in other words: conference, booth) interpreter has to perfectly know not only a language into which he/she interprets, but also the subject matter of the conference.

What is a translation page?
Translation texts submitted to the Office are written in various fonts, and document pages are of various sizes. For this reason a translation price is calculated based on the number of the so-called translation pages. In case of standard translation a translation page is 1600 signs, whereas a page of sworn translation is 1125 signs. It should also be noticed that the smallest translation unit is one page.
